An Evening of Stories Raleigh

An Evening of Stories (Public Event)

How can we take all the love, all the transparency, all the laughter, all the power, all the story-telling, all the community and build something new, worthy of the legacy?
– Jen Hatmaker, Belong Tour

Stories offer hope, connect us, and inspire us to live more courageous lives.

Oh, I have been wanting to host an event like this for so long! I’ve invited five friends to share their stories, stories that I know are common enough but also powerful enough to impact. Our friend Amy Carroll, author and speaking coach at Next Step Coaching Services, has joined us to encourage our speakers and help each women craft a message that gives us a glimpse into her life that will connect us all.

Speakers:

Melissa Bell
Lindsey Hignite
Elizabeth Overman
Jessica Thomas
Linda Wishart

Vend Raleigh

Vend Raleigh is a professional group for small business leaders, but for this special event we welcome everyone to come and be a part of this powerful evening. While Vend Raleigh is not a faith based organization, on occasion we offer a Business Women of Faith event. Our evening of stories is being promoted as part of that program.

Our Vend Raleigh Directory promotes local business leaders. When you are looking for a photographer, coach, shop, unique product or gift, shop and hire local business women here.

Designed For Joy

Designed For Joy will be our featured nonprofit. Designed For Joy is a living wage artisan group hiring women coming from all types of life transitions with a mission to keep our sisters here at home free of the traps of sex and labor trafficking and to live a life free of food and housing insecurity.
