Vend Raleigh Blog Round Up

Raleigh Small Business Women, Raleigh Bloggers, Several weeks ago we started a weekly Vend Raleigh Blog Round Up. I’ve been using Bloglovin’ to follow Vend Mompreneurs. It’s been so fun for me to see your work and everyone seems to be super excited when they are featured! (Great visibility for your biz’s blog!)

If you blog, comment below with you blog’s address and I’ll be sure to follow.  Follow me on Bloglovin’ at www.bloglovin.com/caryheise.

This week there is no theme, but three blogs that caught my eye and definitely worthy of a share!

I’ve been following Maggie Zam for some time, I really enjoy her on Instagram! You might remember her sweet favor in the Illuminate Swag Bag from last year. TheTwiddles.com had a DIY last week that was super cute! I thought you Mompreneurs might like to do this Valentine Garland with Sweet Little Notes with your lil’ Valentine’s!

Suzanne Miller of Love and Small Things has been active in Vend Raleigh for a long time now and I’m excited to announce that she will be leading our first Vend Book Club.  Suzanne invites you to, “Spend 4 weeks in April & May discussing a book and learning from one another through real, vulnerable, authentic conversation about life, business, leadership, parenting, and more!” Her book club idea was inspired by her  365 Days with TED. (Details about the Vend Book Club coming soon!)

Red Bridge Photography

Our third featured blog post comes from Red Bridge Photography.  Rebecca Faulk blogs about watermarks, copyright and some legal details that photography clients might not be aware of.  I’m going to assume this topic can sometimes be a hot one with clients. I like Rebecca’s honest approach and her invitation for her clients to give her some feedback on solutions to protect the work of Red Bridge Photography and her clients images. I’m curious how other photographers have addressed this topic with clients. Comment below!
