I’m featuring three awesome blog posts this week- all with some valuable information for you, as business owners!
Melissa Devoe Photography is our first blogging biz. Not only are Melissa’s images just adorable, she is consistent with her blogging! I asked Melissa her experience with blogging for her business and this is what she had to say, “Blogging has been a great tool for my business. Routine posts are great for SEO and staying visible to search engines, which drives traffic to my site. It’s also been a great way to connect to my clients and have them get to know both my work and me personally. I blog each and every photo session I shoot, so potential clients can see the consistency in my work and I can therefore gain their confidence. It’s also a great way to communicate with my clients and give them information on scheduling and availability, as well as any specials I’m running.”
Baby Reed’s photo shoot caught my attention this week, click here to view!
Belinda Lee Designs tells the drama journey of her profile picture, 6 Tips for Getting a Good {Great} Profile Picture. I give this a blog post a big Amen! Mompreneurs, invest in a good professional headshot. #worthit I’ll let Belinda give you the tips. (I especially like tip #5.)
*Belinda Briggs is a Vend Raleigh Directory member.
Melissa Culbertson of Momcomm announced that she is changing (her very well known) blog’s name to Blog Clarity. Some of you know that Vend Raleigh went through a name change last year, and it wasn’t easy. I didn’t always get a positive response, even from my closest Mompreneur friends. Change can be scary, and changing a business name is a big deal! Melissa tells her readers about following and owning a passion and purpose for her biz and her reasons for rebranding/renaming her website here in The Biggest Change Ever… A New Name!
These business owners give us great examples and tips on improving our marketing, our professional image and staying loyal to the passion that prompted us to create our own businesses! What are you thoughts? Are you inspired to try something new or make some changes?
Are you blogging? Remember to leave a link to your blog below in the comments so that I can follow you on Bloglovin’, too!
