No matter your experience level we invite you to join us for this interactive workshop. Amber Foster Smith, a local wedding photographer and Vend Raleigh member will be guiding you through the workshop, teaching you how to utilize your environment to add drama and style to your portrait sessions. Throughout the evening you will have the opportunity to photograph a wedding couple, bridal portraits, tablescapes and even a mock cake cutting! We will be working with bridal models: 2 brides, groom, and bridal party.
BONUS: In addition to the May 1st shoot out and workshop we will be providing additional education through exclusive webinars leading up to the event! Links to two webinars with Amber Foster Smith Photography will be emailed to you. She will walk you through important wedding day timeline tips and how to make the most out of your time with a couple. Be prepared to take lots of notes and bring all of your questions with you to the shoot out workshop!

Participants will have up to two weeks to submit up to five watermarked photos for judging. Recognition and prizes will be awarded to the top three photographers with the highest overall score.

Darah is also a regular contributor and event photographer for Raleigh Moms Blog.
Amber is the owner of Amber Foster Smith Photography based in Holly Springs and specializing in weddings and full service portraits. She is passionate about telling her client’s stories through beautiful imagery and creating heirloom pieces of artwork for families to cherish. Amber is also the heart behind The Studio : A Coworking Space for Creatives where she focuses on empowering entrepreneurs and small business owners through education with a space to grow their business.
