Work at home moms give you their most valuable time saving tips!
I schedule meetings weeks out, not every meeting has to be right away. (I also leave room in my schedule for those meetings that do need to be scheduled right away.)
Cary Heise, Vend Raleigh
I organize my contacts in Asana so when I’m on the road I can make that call and have the notes handy.
Nicole Caliger, The Organista
I keep extras with me in the car: supplies for jewelry making, sneakers for a quick walk, books for school/ art inspiration. If our schedule changes? I am ready to roll!
Amanda Weir-Gertzog, Zorarts
Grab 15 minute pockets of time to accomplish your “To-Do” list. You may not have a whole hour to get something done, but in 15 minute blocks of time you can make progress.
Jennifer Menting, Pampered Chef
Prioritize! Not everything has to be done immediately. I try to prioritize my to do list knowing that I may only have a small window of time to get things done.
Kara Barefoot Varnell, Select Sitters
I make sure to save time by keeping a printed workflow near me that lists my tasks for day before, day of, day after. Keeps me on track so I don’t miss anything to ensure a great customer service. Also, if I can’t find something time gets lost. So I have to stay organized, no clutter. Everything has to have a home, so I can quickly find what I need.

Week at a glance calendar or “to do” list filled out at the first of the week so that your hours are spent working not planning.

Great tips! I’m always looking for a more efficient way to tackle my day & still feel accomplished when I go to bed. Definitely going to try the “15 minute pocket of time” then treat myself afterwards! Great post!
