Who is motivated and ready for this year’s Illuminate conference!?! I can say without a doubt that your 2014 Illuminate committee is ready! We are so excited about this year’s conference that not only have we already been working hard, we had to bring on additional people just to make sure it is a big hit! Many on the 2013 committee returned this year to help organize everything, but when we determined that it was going to be so big that we needed additional help we went straight to you all and here is who decided to partner with us for 2014…
I came to Vend Raleigh two years ago to promote my blog, and stuck around to help market my recent direct sales venture. As a working parent of two young children, I have loved the collaboration and support of Vend Raleigh. As a long-time marketing professional, I plan to rock this year’s Illuminate Sponsorship Chair post. Stay tuned for early bird opportunities and other fun stuff, coming soon! I am a corporate director, the voice of CorporateMama, and an executive consultant for Rodan + Fields skin care. I am also a wife and mother of 2, and I consistently over-extended (but usually happy about it). Connect with me on Facebook and Twitter.
Being a local photographer and video producer at Hanner Photography Studios, I love all things visual. So, I am very excited to offer my help as the Website & Graphics Assistant Chairperson for this year’s Illuminate conference. As a photography business owner, I am behind WordPress most of the day in order to effectively promote my love of child and newborn photography. Between chasing after my 3 kids under the age of 3, video production at Hope Community Church and being a photographer, I can relate to moms out there trying to do it all. I am thankful for my God-given talent and can’t wait to see what the future holds for my business. I am excited to meet all of you at Illuminate and am blessed to call myself a Vend Raleigh Mompreneur!
I’m excited to join the Illuminate Committee as the Assistant Chairperson for Media and Public Relations. I attended both of the previous Illuminate conferences. I found them to be so valuable to my business skills; I wanted to be involved to help make it happen again. I am the Raleigh Local Coordinator for InterExchange Au Pair USA and the Business Operations Coordinator for Boost Interactive Media. I share my life with my husband and 2 year old son in Raleigh, and in my free time, I blog at Love and Small Things.
I’m Alicia Frazee of The Teal Magnolia, where I create sewn accessories and gifts and also blog about living creatively yet simply. I’m married to my college sweetheart/prince charming and we live in Holly Springs with our four-year-old boy and one-year-old girl. This year at Illuminate, you’ll see me as the assistant decorating/venue chair, working with Gaye Esser to coordinate venue amenities and plan some pre- and post- event gatherings. I am so excited to be part of the Illuminate team this year! Last year’s conference was so powerful and inspiring that I jumped at the chance to be part of it this year. I hope to see you there!
I’m a stay at home mom to a rambunctious 3 year-old, and the owner of Little Details, a hybrid online shop for handmade personalized gifts and boutique apparel. I launched Little Details after attending the first Illuminate conference, and I’m really excited to have the opportunity to give back by serving as the Ticket and Swag Bag Chair. I look forward to using my background in marketing to help each of you creatively advertise your business for Illuminate!
So, there it is the awesome new faces of the 2014 Illuminate Committee! But, don’t forget all the great members who are back for another fantastic year!
