Work It, Girl: Announcing Pre-Illuminate Events

Illuminate-2014 Vend Raleigh

WORK IT, GIRL!

Alright. You’ve got your ticket, you’ve cleared your calendar for Oct.3, you’ve checked out the breakout sessions, your stack of business cards is ready to go, and you’ve even picked out a chic-yet-comfortable power outfit to wear to Illuminate.  You’re itching to get to Illuminate (I am too), but it’s a bit away. What do you do now?

WORK IT, GIRL!

Get Hooked Up Vend Raleigh IlluminateAs if Illuminate isn’t enough of an experience, the planning committee wants to give you more. How about  coffee, drinks or even dinner? During the week leading up to Illuminate, we’ve set up some great opportunities for you to come meet other Illuminate attendees, speakers,  and committee members.

These casual get-togethers are time for you to sit back, get to meet everyone and get started networking. Talk about your business with others, learn about other businesses, arrange to trade notes with someone at Illuminate, and kick back and have some fun.

I know some of you out there see the words ‘networking meeting’ and your heart freezes. It’s okay –  I’m one of those people, too. It’s hard for me to walk into a networking event just for the sake of chatting. But trust me, Vend Raleigh women are some of the most welcoming and supportive women you’ll meet. Everyone genuinely wants to learn about each other’s business and help each other succeed. You’re in good hands.

So where will I see you?

Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 6:30 p.m.: Drinks at bu*ku in Raleigh

Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 6:30 p.m.: Dinner at Bocci in Cary

Thursday, Oct. 2 at 10 a.m.: Coffee at Wake Zone in Apex

And if you really can’t wait for Illuminate, check out the Vend Raleigh events page. There’s always something going on for mompreneurs.
